The role
We're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to own our social media presence and paid advertising across all channels. You'll be the person who brings the Motra brand to life in the feed -- building an audience, growing awareness, and turning followers into users.
This is a hands-on role. You'll be writing captions, building ad campaigns, producing TikToks, and analyzing what's working. You'll work closely with the art director to make sure every piece of content looks and sounds like Motra.
What you'll own
TikTok -- our primary growth channel for the 20--35 audience. You'll create, film, and post content natively, not just repost from Instagram.
Instagram -- maintaining and growing our existing presence (3x/week), engaging with comments, running polls and surveys, building community.
Paid social -- planning and running campaigns on Instagram and TikTok. You know how to set up, test, and optimize ads without hand-holding.
Ad creative -- copywriting and basic content production for ads. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent is a plus.
A/B testing -- running creative and copy tests on paid campaigns to improve performance over time.
YouTube ads -- briefing and coordinating short-form ad edits (3--6 seconds) with the team.
Performance reporting -- tracking KPIs across channels weekly using analytics platforms (Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics) and sharing clear, actionable insights with the team.
Social media scheduling -- using tools like Hootsuite or Buffer to manage posting cadence and maintain consistency.
What we're looking for
4+ years running social media and paid ads for a consumer brand -- fitness, health, wellness, or lifestyle preferred
Native TikTok fluency -- you understand the platform from the inside, not just as a marketer
Strong writing instincts -- you can write a caption that's short, sharp, and benefit-led without being told to
Experience managing paid campaigns on Meta and TikTok -- you know how to set up, test, and optimize
Comfortable with performance data -- Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics
Eye for brand -- you can tell when something looks or sounds off, and you care about getting it right
Self-directed -- you don't need a brief for every post. You understand the brand and run with it.
Bonus points
Experience with Apple Search Ads
Experience marketing an app (not just a product or service)
Video editing skills -- even basic mobile editing for TikTok
Experience growing a brand from early stage
