Job Overview (What This Role Is All About):
Cotopaxi is looking for a creative, technically curious, and highly organized Del Día Choice Production Coordinator to help bring our one-of-a-kind Del Día products to life online. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of studio photography, emerging technology, and eCommerce, creating high-quality, catalog-ready product imagery through a combination of traditional photography, technology-powered rendering, and image-generation tools.
You’ll work within established production workflows while also helping us test new tools, refine processes, and find smarter ways to create accurate, consistent, and brand-right imagery at scale. The ideal candidate has a strong visual eye, enjoys experimenting with technology, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where creative problem-solving and operational precision go hand in hand. This is an in-person role based at Cotopaxi’s Distribution Center, five days per week.
Job Responsibilities (How You’ll Make An Impact):
- Create high-quality, catalog-ready Del Día Choice product imagery using traditional photography, technology-powered rendering, and image-generation tools.
- Capture source photography and product references, including product setup, lighting, tethered capture, and standardized compositions.
- Develop, test, and refine technology-assisted image workflows, including prompt development, source-image preparation, editing, and output validation.
- Review and edit photographed and rendered assets to ensure product accuracy, color fidelity, construction details, realism, and brand consistency.
- Follow established production workflows, style guides, quality standards, and file-management practices to prepare accurate assets for publication.
- Manage daily production priorities and deliverables while meeting established quality, volume, and time-to-site expectations.
- Monitor production workflows, identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks, and recommend improvements that increase quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Test and evaluate emerging imaging, rendering, editing, and automation technologies and help integrate useful tools into production workflows.
- Document and maintain repeatable workflows and SOPs as the Del Día Choice program and supporting technologies evolve.
- Collaborate with eCommerce, Creative, Merchandising, and Distribution Center teams to improve product imagery and scale Del Día Choice production.
The Ideal Candidate (What You’ll Bring to the Role):
- 1–3 years of studio photography, product photography, digital imaging, or related production experience, ideally in a high-volume or workflow-driven environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or formal education in photography, digital media, graphic design, or a related field preferred.
- A photography, digital imaging, rendering, or related portfolio demonstrating strong visual judgment and technical ability.
- A strong visual eye and ability to assess imagery for product accuracy, realism, color, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and Lightroom, and comfort working in a macOS environment.
- Familiarity with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, studio lighting, and tethered photography.
- Experience with technology-powered image generation, product rendering, or AI-assisted editing is a plus; demonstrated curiosity and aptitude for quickly learning emerging tools is equally important.
- Comfort experimenting with new technology, testing workflows, and working through ambiguity while maintaining high standards for quality and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work toward production, quality, and turnaround goals.
- A process-oriented mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies, troubleshoot challenges, and develop repeatable workflows and documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across eCommerce, Creative, Merchandising, and Distribution Center teams.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on-site at Cotopaxi’s Distribution Center five days per week.
