The Role You'll Play

ClassPass is seeking a motivated Associate Field Account Executive to grow our merchant base by acquiring and onboarding local businesses in the fitness and wellness space. This is a field-based role (60–80% travel) suited for someone who's run a full sales cycle before—prospecting through close—and is ready to bring that experience into a face-to-face, relationship-driven selling environment. It's an ideal next step for a strong inside sales performer looking to build a career in field sales.

What You'll Do

  • Build your merchant network by prospecting, pitching, and closing new businesses within your assigned territory
  • Get in front of prospects: visit local businesses, attend community events, and build relationships with local partners and industry contacts
  • Own the full sales cycle—from outreach and initial meetings through negotiation and close—using a mix of in-person, phone, email, and virtual touchpoints
  • Work toward monthly acquisition quotas and pipeline conversion targets, with support and coaching as you grow into the field
  • Learn the local market: identify opportunities and understand customer demand in your territory
  • Keep your pipeline disciplined and up to date in Salesforce, tracking activity and performance metrics
  • Partner with senior Field Account Executives and sales leadership to sharpen your field selling skills

Travel Expectations

Travel will make up 60–80% of your time, including local day trips and some multi-night regional travel. Travel may be by car or flight—flexibility is important to meet customer needs and build territory coverage.

The Experience You'll Bring

  • 1–3 years of full-cycle sales experience (inside sales, SDR/AE hybrid roles, or similar)—prior field sales experience is not required
  • Comfortable owning a deal from first conversation to close, including qualifying, pitching, negotiating, and closing
  • Strong communicator who builds trust quickly, in person and over the phone or email
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to grow into a field-based selling role
  • Organized and disciplined with pipeline management and time management
  • Open to coaching and feedback as you build field sales skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce; familiarity with SalesLoft and Microsoft Office Suite a plus
  • Passion for the fitness, wellness, or experience economy
